Reduce Foaming
and Corrosion
Oelheld U.S. Inc. expands its AquaTec line
of water miscible coolants with the intro-
duction of AquaTec OH 3557. This coolant
is a water-soluble, semi-synthetic metal-
working fuid designed to provide excellent
machining, reduced foaming and corrosion
protection in a range of manufacturing ap-
plications, the company says. Because of its
exceptional lubricity, it can be used in light,
medium and severe applications, including
broaching and reaming. Its highly stable
formulation makes AquaTec OH 3557 a
good choice for operations and mainte-
nance managers, the company says.
AquaTec OH 3557 was designed with
the medical parts industry in mind, where
tough materials such as cobalt chromium
alloys, titanium alloys and stainless steel
provide manufacturing challenges. The
coolant surpassed all these requirements.
