Thinbit's Deepgroove support blade-style
tooling is designed for internal grooving
with a minimum bore diameter of 1" (25
mm) and is compatible with 2-mm, 3-mm
and 4-mm inserts.
To best match customer requirements,
the tools are available in four neck styles:
3" reach with 0.375" (10-mm) cutting
depth, 3" reach with 0.500" (13-mm) cut-
ting depth, 1.5" reach with 0.375" (10-mm)
cutting depth and 1.5" reach with 0.500"
(13-mm) cutting depth. The elliptical
cross-sectional area of the neck provides
maximum rigidity.
