52 PRODUCTION MACHINING :: DECEMBER 2014 Wet Blast Machines Eliminate Surface Impregnation Ofering uniform media fow and high fnish control, Rosler's KS series wet blast machines are self-contained systems that use a slurry of abrasive media and water to clean, descale and degrease surfaces in a single operation. The slurry is directed through a high-volume, internally-mounted pump to a blast gun, where regulated air pressure adjusts the aggressiveness of the process. The media and water are re-circulated, eliminating the need for a drain, as well as wastewater pollution and costly disposal methods. In addition, by using water as a bufer between metal and media to cushion the shock and reduce the downward force, the wet blast- ing machines also eliminate the surface impregnation possible in traditional media-to-part processes. With standard machine cabinet sizes of 28"-60" square and a range of sump and media capacities, the KS series machines are well-suited for a variety of applications, including cleaning and deburring molds, circuit boards, parts and castings, as well as preparing high-performance surfaces for etching, matte fnishing, peening and texturing. :: Rosler Metal Finishing USA, LLC 269-441-3000 rosler.us Replacement Elements Made In USA Filters Strainers Tank Mounted Filler Breathers Flow Diffusers Filters, Strainers & Accessories Since 1945 l e m e n t s n e r s T a n e r s F l o w S E A R C H I N G i f f u s e Our quality and leadership in flter technology assure you quick and economical solutions to all your fltration needs.
