Flood/Spray System with Revolving Wheel Technology Ensures Thorough Cleaning The necessity for clean components in the automotive industry requires reliable cleaning technologies. BvL Oberflächentechnik produces suitable clean- ing systems that are always tailored to the special cus- tomer requirements. The NiagaraDFS basket washing system is the answer to especially high cleanliness requirements. The flood/spray system with revolving wheel technology ensures thorough clean- ing through rotation of the parts baskets or parts car- riers around the horizontal axis. The inline material flow concept shortens ancillary times to a minimum, significantly reducing cycle times and increasing capacity. :: BvL Oberflächentechnik bvl-group.de/en/ Burnishing Compound for Mass Finishing Madison Chemical's Tumble Brite EP-13 is a mild burnishing compound that's especially useful for mass finishing op- erations. Compared with other alkaline products, the compound decreases burnishing time while cleaning oils and removing oxide and scale, producing a smooth surface with excellent bright ap- pearance and luster, the company says. It is designed to provide excellent lubricity and controlled foam, and it reduces excessive media-to-media wear, making it especially useful for vibratory or barrel operations. With a pH of 3.0 to 3.5, and a specific gravity of 1.08, the com- pound does not contain nitrite, phosphorus or silicate and is safe to use on stainless steel, ferrous, aluminum, zinc, copper and brass al- loys, as well as for deburring operations. When not rinsed, it provides short-term rust protection for normal operations of steel media. The compound may be used in vibratory applications in a dilu- tion of 0.5-2.0 percent volume in water. In barrel equipment, the recommended dilution is 1.5-3.0 percent volume in water. When used in closed barrels, the barrel must be vented. :: Madison Chemical, 812-273-6000, madchem.com Visit PM Online Today! productionmachining.com productionmachining.com Visit PM Online New Products Today! productionmachining.com Use PM online to research precision turning methods, tooling, and machines • New site is user-friendly for mobile devices • Simple navigation to find what you need quickly • Offers supplier database, articles, events, news, and more
