Schütte Names New CEO for North America LNS Appoints Regional Sales Manager LNS America Inc. has appointed Bob Bodde as regional sales manager for Michigan, Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, Kentucky and West Virginia. He assumes responsibility for sales and customer sup- port for LNS bar feeders, chip and coolant management systems, air filtration prod- ucts and workholding devices. Mr. Bodde earned a B.S. in Busi- ness Administration from The Ohio State University and an MBA from Case Western's Weatherhead School of Management. He brings more than 20 years of experience helping manu- facturers apply technology to improve their businesses. Along with his wife and three children, Mr. Bodde resides in the Greater Cleve- land area from where he will service LNS customers. :: LNS America Inc. 513-528-5674, :: Global Shop Solutions Opens Facility Global Shop Solutions Inc. has opened its 10,000-square-foot facility, making it the third building at its headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas. On June 29, almost 200 people from the Greater Houston area gathered at the facility for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The modern 10,000 square-foot building is home to a 72-seat training room full of the latest technology, a community dining/ kitchen area complete with a market, and an outdoor, covered patio designed to seat up to 100 people. "Our new building is a springboard to another 40 years of loving, caring and serving our great customers," President and CEO Dusty Alexander says. "We invite all manufacturers to contact us, schedule a visit, and give us the opportunity to show you why we are different." :: Global Shop Solutions Inc. 281-681-1959, Company Celebrates Grand Opening of Headquarters MC Machinery Systems Inc. hosted a grand opening celebration at its new headquarters in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, on Sept. 14. The new facility is a 76 percent increase in square footage from the previous facility located in Wood Dale, Illinois. During the event, attendees toured the new facility and saw MC Machinery's 30,000 square-foot showroom dis- playing a range of machining products and advanced manufacturing solutions. Schunk's U.S. headquarters is already the larg- est facility outside of Germany. This expansion will provide space for a tech center and training facility, additional Schütte has appoint- ed Jeffrey Reinert as CEO for its North American operations, effective June 8. Mr. Reinert brings more than 30 years of related experience to the position, having been involved with all aspects of manufactur- ing, sales, marketing and management in the machine tool industry. He was most recently the president and CEO for North American operations at Index Corp. While at Index, he almost doubled the sales of the company, reorganized the ser- vice, parts and training departments, and opened a new office in the Mexican market for the company. He was also previously the president of Machine Tools of Indiana, a dealer company he founded in 2001 and ran successfully for seven years. Mr. Reinert says, "My personal goal is to bring Schütte to the forefront of the industry, in both the multi-spindle and grinding technology arenas. We can shine as a great team, with excellent machines backed by a high-quality group of dedi- cated individuals.
