According to the company, the HFD4 uses a method to mea- sure and categorize contamination as metallic, non-metallic or fibers. It also features auto-focus, zoom sen- sor and automatic light balancing. It is capable of single or multi-filter scanning by upgrading to a four- filter or six-filter stage. Average cycle time beginning with placing the filter to report generation is ap- proximately four minutes per filter. The HFD4 combines image analysis with an interface that allows users to customize the analysis process to their specifications. :: Jomesa Measurement Systems 248-457-0023, jomesa.com Ultrasonic Cleaning Tanks Extend Transducer Life Blackstone-Ney Ultrasonics, a division of Cleaning Technologies Group LLC, intro- duces its PROHT ultrasonic cleaning tanks, which are powered by 2K Platform Nep- tune, SweepSonic, and MultiSonic ultrasonic generators. PROHT ultrasonic cleaning tanks and housings are constructed of stainless steel with a duplex stainless transducer radiating surface to extend transducer life, the company says. These tanks are available in sizes ranging from 12" × 6" through 36" × 24" and said to offer the same cleaning capabilities as more elaborate systems but at a lower price. They are especially useful for laboratory as well as entry-level applications through small scale production cleaning. The compact design fits easily on a workbench or can be installed as a benchtop drop-in. A digital ultrasonic timer and temperature control are standard features of the PROHT design. The tanks are powered by the company's 2K Platform ultrasonic generators. These generators each provide up to 2000 watts. :: Cleaning Technologies Group 513-870-1783, ctgclean.com
