This is the place for company owners and their management teams to come, connect and learn from one another by actively participating in this conference. Our focus this year is "Inspiring Transformation." We invite everyone to come and "Be Inspired." We are pleased to announce our keynote speaker for this event is Roy Firestone, who most of us remember from his days at ESPN. Critically acclaimed as a performer, monologist, humorist, musician and impressionist, Mr. Firestone is one of the nation's most sought-after speakers. He is a seven-time Emmy Award winning and seven-time cable ACE Award winning host, interviewer, narrator, writer and producer. Not limited to television, Mr. Firestone is the author of two best-selling books, "Up Close with Roy Firestone," and "Don't Make Me Cry, Roy." Emmy-winning ESPN sports personality, Roy Firestone, will lead off our meeting with a humorous and insightful opening keynote presentation. Mr. Firestone has a reputation for getting his audience laughing, with impersonations, funny video clips and audience interaction. His message is sure to help us become the best version of ourselves, at home and in the workplace. We chose to focus this conference on "Inspiring Transformation" – with sessions designed to inspire a renewal of personal leadership, workforce and company aspirations. A combination of business sessions and networking events will provide the take-home value our members have come to expect from this national meeting. And while we are certain Roy Firestone will deliver the kick-off that will inspire our attendees, there are a diverse group of speakers and topics offered at this conference, including: • Family Business Governance – Doug Box, a certifi ed family business advisor, will walk us through the critical steps needed to establish a system of family governance, including how to set up a board of directors, a family council, using outside advisors and how to draft the family wealth constitution.
