ATS Adds Global Business Director ATS Global has appointed Christo- pher Biddle to the role of global strategic business develop- ment director. This is a new role for the organization, which reflects the company's business plan of growth in key sectors and geographies and strengthening its pres- ence in the aerospace sector. This new company will specialize in the refurbishing, retooling, and selling of Legacy Hydromat rotary transfer ma- chines. Legacy-style machines are the original hydraulically controlled machines that Hydromat Inc. started to import into the United States during the 1970s. Both Motch and Eichele and Hydromat Inc. are contributing intellectual property, R&D; assets, engineering capabilities and other resources to Hydromat-RE. Most Legacy Hydromat machines are still in service in some capacity, so the mar- ketplace is always in need of rebuild and retool services. Hydromat-RE will provide everything from used or reconditioned parts, all equipment needed for a manu- facturer's retool and full rebuild turnkey machines for selected projects. Brokering of used machine sales will also be a service Hydromat-RE staff members will offer.
