Heavy-Duty Chip Carts for Metalworking Booth 1256 Cecor will display its heavy-duty chip cart line designed for the metalworking industry. These carts are sized to fit machine tool discharge and handle the maximum capacity using the smallest footprint. Made of heavy-gauge steel, carts can withstand the pun- ishment of the machine shop environment. Fully welded seams will not leak, melt, split or burn, the company says. Carts range from low-profile, with lip heights as low as 12", to tall-profile carts with a capacity of 1 cubic yard. The carts are designed to safely and easily push up to 1,500 lbs and can be emptied by forklift, hook hoist or adapted for hydraulic dumpers. Options include a drain plug, hinged drain screen and tow link for easy discharge. :: Cecor 800-356-9042, cecor.net End Mills Capable of Aggressive Roughing Strategies Booth 1038 Haimer will introduce its Basic Mill line of end mills designed to reduce features to the essentials with- out forgoing quality. These solid carbide end mills are created with H6 shank tolerances using cutting edge geometries with an unequal flute and helix design that reduces vibration while machining. The mill can be used in almost any material, including stainless steel, alloy steel, cast iron, aluminum and general steels, the company says. The end mill is capable of aggressive roughing machining strategies including slotting, trochoidal milling, steep ramping and even plunging. Available in inch and metric dimensions, a full complement of radii and flute lengths, and with or without Safe-Lock shanks, the Basic Mill series is intended as a do-it-all end mill for the machine shop. The company will also be featuring its Power Clamp shrink-fit machines, shrink-fit toolholders and collet chucks, Tool Dynamic balancing machines and more. :: Haimer USA 866-837-3265, haimer-usa.com IBAG Micro Line Means More! ■ More compact models to fi t more machines ■ More tool accuracy-less than 1 micron TIR ■ More applications-turrett mounted spindles ■ More user-friendly-easier to install ■ More cycle time savings for faster ROI IBAG Micro Line high speed spindles for Swiss machining.
