According to the company, the system provides reliable orderli- ness and lowered costs by helping to eliminate the depositing of tools in incorrect places, machine down- time because of missing tools and wasted time. Tools, components and accessories are managed systematically and efficiently, allowing shopfloor personnel to find the exact location of the desired tool or component with a single click. The storage locations are displayed graphically in 3D (tools with images). Stock entries are automatically passed on to the system via a direct link, and the corresponding drawer is unlocked. As the system identifies minimum stock levels, purchasing orders can also be triggered.
