Page 60 of 67 :: 59 Multitasking Live Center Extends Operating Life The Ultimate multitasking live center from Royal Products in- creases the accuracy, capability and functionality of multitasking CNC machines, while extending their operating life, the company says. It's specifically designed to protect the latest multitasking CNC machines with lower turrets and subspindles. The center's spring-loaded design overcomes the lack of hydraulic compensation on tailstocks, which protects lower turrets and subspindles against overloading or crashes. The outstanding sealing characteristics of the center's Royal Roto-Shield coolant slinger and an upgraded, spring-loaded neoprene shield that's re- sistant to abrasion, high temperatures and virtually all metalwork- ing fluids also give it a bearing life superior to other spring-type live centers, the company says. The live center is designed to be extremely accurate, with runout guaranteed to ±0.0001" TIR or better. It also incorporates a heavy-duty bearing configuration and optimized spring pack, which makes it especially useful for all multitasking CNC machines. :: Royal Products, 800-645-4174, Updated Chuck Jaw Catalog Available Online Dillon Manufacturing updated its catalog detailing standard chuck jaws and collet pads.
