PRODUCTS 48 PRODUCTION MACHINING :: OCTOBER 2016 Precision Tooling Catalog Details Tool Line Heimatec's product catalog features an overview of its full line of precision tooling and related products. The catalog can be viewed at short.productionmachining.com/heimcat. Heimatec has a range of live tools, with more than 40,000 designs in its database. In addition to live tooling, Heimatec's 24- page catalog also features the U-tec changing system, HT Quick Change, angle heads, multiple spindles and static tools. The company manufactures tools for the most popular machines, including DMG MORI, Doosan, EMAG, Emco, Euro- tech, Feeler, Haas, Hardinge, Hurco, Hwacheon, Hyundai, Mazak, Miyano, Murata, Nakamura, Okuma, Samsung, Spinner, Takisawa, Victor Fortune and Yama Seiki. :: Heimatec Inc. 847-749-0633 heimatecinc.com Interactive Displays Include Clamping Heads, Mando Adapt and Jaw Module Hainbuch America Corp.'s TTT (Today, Tonight, Tomorrow) inter- active displays for machine tool distributors and OEMs are fitted with Hainbuch's standard products that are the formation of the TTT modular system. The display is equipped with the Spantop Nova chuck (the original 10-second collet chuck) for turning ap- plications, and the Manok Plus chuck for stationary applications. The user can experience the simplicity and speed of going from OD clamping to ID clamping or to three-jaw clamping in two minutes or less for each change-over, the company says. The adaptations included with the display are clamping heads (collets) for OD clamping, the Mando Adapt for ID clamping and the jaw module for large diameters. Partnering with machine tool distributors and OEMs across North America, the TTT Interactive Display will show end users how they can enhance the productiv- ity and flexibility of their new machine, thereby improving OEEs and reducing the time it takes to recover their capital investment. :: Hainbuch America Workholding Technology 800-281-5734 hainbuchamerica.com Tools Improve Grooving and Parting Operations The Walter Cut G2042 series of grooving tools features reinforced blades and a dual internal coolant delivery system. In grooving and parting off operations, cutting edges are exposed to high mechanical and thermal stresses. Effective cooling and lubrication is imperative. The G2042 system precisely delivers coolant to the flank and to the chipbreaker of the insert. The result: A constant optimum operating temperature with the coolant stream targeting the center of the chip formation. This leads to better chip control, which in turn, produces improved surface finishes and flatness, and better tool life. The Walter Cut G2042 parting blades with precision cooling are available in blade sizes of 1.02" and 1.2" (26-32 mm). Inserts for the G2042 are available in widths of 2 to 4 mm. Prime target applications include turret turning centers with bar feeders part- ing off to center and performing depths of cut more than 0.315" (8 mm), particularly on difficult-to-machine materials, especially high temperature alloy materials. :: Walter USA LLC 800-945-5554 walter-tools.com/us
