United Grinding Breaks Ground for New Facility United Grinding conducted a groundbreak- ing ceremony on August 9 for its new North American headquarters to be built in Miamisburg, Ohio. With the new facility, the company will further strengthen its customer service and support and boost its operational agility for even faster response to customer needs. The new 100,000-square-foot facility will reside on approximately 15 acres of land near Ohio Interstate 75. Current employees will move to the new head- quarters, and the company plans to create significantly more jobs in the next 5 years. The move is part of AMT's ongoing project to build a new, 200,000-square- foot office building at its former location. HnG Medical is a solution provider for advanced equipment and materials used to manufacture medical devices. Derrico has been named presi- dent of Bourn & Koch. Also joining senior management are Kerry Koch (CFO), Greg Champion (V.P. of sales and marketing) and Peter Mischler (engineering manager). Mr. Derrico, who was most recently president and CEO of United Grinding North America, brings more than 30 years of relevant industry and leadership experience to Bourn & Koch. Mr. Koch brings more than 30 years of finance experience. His background includes experience in highly engineered equipment and in mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Champion brings a wealth of sales and marketing experience with him from his tenure with Hennig Inc. He is also the former V.P. of sales for Mattison Tech- nologies Co. Mr. Mischler holds eight U.S. patents created for machine tool applications.
