:: Site Gives CNC Programmers Software at No Cost BobCAD-CAM has launched a new website, Machinist-ToolBox .com , where CNC machinists can download the shop utility, Machinist ToolBox software, free of charge. Normally retailing for $100, the company is waiving the fee whenever anyone downloads the Machinist ToolBox software from the site. Also included in the download is a trial version of the company's latest CAD/CAM software for CNC programming— BobCAD-CAM V28. Machinist ToolBox ofers access to speed and feed calculations for CNC milling, drilling, turning and tapping, in addition to trig calculators, conversion formulas and reference guides. The material feed and speed calculator comes with a pre- confgured material library, including data on aluminum, alloy steels, carbon steels, tool steels, stainless, cast iron, copper, titanium, super alloys, and more. It also has a place to input user- defned materials using custom set speed and feed data. :: ABB Robotics Ofers Online, Interactive Training Course ABB Robotics' "IRC5 Operations Web- Based Training (US519)" is an online, interactive training course that teaches students how to operate a robot using the ABB FlexPendant and the IRC5 robot controller.
