Hydromat introduces the Epic Gen II, a streamlined version of the Plug n' Play architecture offering the highest degree of performance/ fl exibility, including complex multi-axis operations. Icon Technologies provides unique multi-station mill-turn centers— Icon 6-150, Icon 8-150 and Icon 6-250—to the precision metalcut- ting marketplace. Designed with four to six machining stations, dedicated loading/unloading stations, the Icon line uses fl exible machining principles. Equipped with a six- or eight-position table, they shuttle pallets to machining modules for fast, ultra-precision cutting. High-torque spindles in 10,000-rpm, 20,000-rpm, 42,000-rpm and 60,000- rpm con fi gurations are offered. The unique new Eclipse 12-100 is a ground up redesign with all new electric servo spindles and slides, each having three-axis capability as standard. No hydraulics are needed for tool spindle motion.
