New technology and accessories such as LFV cutting, laser systems, barloaders and custom automation, enhance the ability to make precision parts quickly and efficiently. Since 1984 MCC has successfully made Citizen Cincom machines some of the most widely accepted Swiss-type lathes in North America with more than 11,000 machines sold. With the addition of Miyano fixed head turning centers to the Citizen family, MCC can offer more solutions for your manufacturing needs. MCC is headquartered in Allendale, New Jersey, with additional sales-service offices in California, Illinois and Massachusetts. These four offices support a network of full service distributors located throughout North and Central America. LFV Cutting Technology Low Frequency Vibration (LFV) is a new cutting technology from Citizen designed to avoid the problem of spiraling chips, entanglement of chips and built-up edges. Available on Cincom machines, this technology can handle a range of machining shapes and materials and is ideal for cutting diffi- cult-to-cut materials while delivering increased throughput and improved part accuracy. • Malleable materials such as copper and plastic, previously impossible to control chips, are easily controlled with LFV • Breaks up chips into very small pieces • Reduction of downtime increases productivity and profit • Efficiency through a combination of vibration and standard cutting • Very fine workpieces are possible • Excellent for deep-hole drilling CNC Automatic Lathes Built to Last The Cincom line of Swiss-type CNC lathes are engineered for exceptional cutting performance. They feature Citizen's Cincom software, which allows for superimposed, synchro- nized control of all axes simultaneously. Several models also offer the flexibility of operating with or without the guide bushing. The Miyano fixed head lathes feature high accuracy, high rigidity and high durability. Spindles with a thick-walled construction and large-diameter bearings minimize deflection and enable continuously stable operations. The capabilities of both the Cincom and Miyano machines are diverse across all industries that require precision and complex machined parts for aerospace, automotive, medical, electronics, and more. The capabilities are endless . 10 PRODUCTION MACHINING :: JANUARY 2019
