United Grinding Group has New Ownership The United Grinding Group has a new owner. The new owner structure comprises a strategically aligned pool of investors organized by the Swiss BZ Bank Aktiengesellschaft. The sale of the Group by the K├Ârber technology group was completed following approval by the responsible supervisory authorities. The Group has experienced a positive development in recent years and has been able to further expand its strong position in the machine tool market. Investments in innovative solutions, modern production technologies, the group's international locations and consistent focus on cus- tomer benefit, have all contributed to this positive development. The new owners want to systematically continue this suc- cess with United Grinding and the course previously pursued so successfully. :: United Grinding North America Inc. grinding.com :: Xometry Acquires MakeTime Xometry, a large on-demand manufac- turing platform, has acquired MakeTime, another leading on-demand manufac- turing company. This acquisition brings together the country's two top manufac- turing network platforms. The combined company will operate under the Xometry brand name and have offices in Maryland and Kentucky. The acquisition will allow Xometry to grow its national partner network of manufacturers from 1,100 to more than 2,300 while gaining MakeTime's enter- prise product expertise and features. Mr. Goral most recently was the product manager for grinding machines. In his new role, Mr. Goral is tasked with developing and growing the Springfield vertical grinder and Blanchard rotary grinder product lines.
