SUPPLIER SHOWCASE NSK's HES Series of high speed electric spindles can be coupled with various spindle tapers for vertical and horizontal machining applications. The HES510 is rated for continuous use up to 50,000 rpm with up to a 1 / 4 " collet and the HES810 is rated for continuous use up to 80,000 rpm with up to 4.0-mm collet. They are adjustable in 100-rpm incre- ments up to 80,000 rpm. Designed to use up to a 4.0 mm collet, the air-cooled motor can meet a variety of machining requirements and is available in 15 different varieties, including self-contained flange mounts. A M E M B E R O F The EVOlution high accuracy micro hand grinder is capable of one-touch rotary control with load indicator and operates in 1,000-rpm increments up to 40,000 rpm. It accommodates two hand motors and can be operated with an optional foot pedal. With 14 available attachments, the EVOlution's versatility is useful for deburring and polishing in a variety of applications. Since it is brushless, light- weight, ergonomically designed and has a decibel rating at less than 70, it can reduce operator fatigue.
