ERP System with Touchscreen Interface Booth 927 Henning Industrial Software's Visual EstiTrack ERP shop manage- ment system features new enhanced releases of Touch Scheduling Board and iVET, the mobile phone/tablet add-on application. The Touch Scheduling Board software system uses an intuitive touch- screen interface to enable users to drag and drop scheduled shop order operations represented as cards within and between work centers. This planning/scheduling tool is designed to emulate and replace the magnetic scheduling boards often found in shops. It can be deployed on large touchscreen monitors on the shop floor and is fully integrated into Visual EstiTrack ERP to make it much easier for shopfloor personnel to prioritize operations, view/set statuses and move operations from one workcenter to another. The iVET mobile add-on application Employee Portal provides the ability to clock in and out of shop order operations, view inventory levels, transfer inventory, capture pictures to document setups and quality concerns, and view assignments and workcenter schedules. :: Henning Industrial Software Inc. 330-650-4212, henningsoftware.com Gundrilling Machine Features Two Independent Spindles Booth 248 Compliant, Compatible and Cost Effective Alloys Booth 232 Mueller Brass Co.'s EcoStream family of products balances the lead-free compliance strategies with the necessity of maintain- ing the productivity of its customers. In lieu of simply replacing lead with constituents that could re-emerge as contaminants, EcoStream products are selected and developed with the sustain- ability of the scrap stream. Whether the form is bar, rod or hot forging, the scrap gener- ated from all EcoStream alloys can be integrated with that of conventional brass alloys. Consequently, the need for costly scrap segregation systems and contamination losses are mitigated, while post-production issues associated with other alternatives such as thread rolling and brazing are avoided. The end result is a family of products that are compliant, com- patible and cost effective, the company says. :: Mueller Brass Co. 800-553-3336, muellerindustriesipd.com The Eldorado M30-30T from Kays Engineering is a twin- spindle gundrilling machine with independent spindle control enabling the machine to perform two independent drilling cycles at the same time. A separate 6.5" (165-mm) full-color control screen is installed on both sides of the machine to enable the operator to take full advantage of the independent spindle flexibility. The M30-30T has a 5 / 16 " (8-mm) diameter drilling capacity and a 30" (762-mm) maximum drilling depth. It features precision-ground ballscrews and high-speed cartridge spindles to improve drilling performance. The ma- chine also incorporates flame-hardened and ground cast iron box ways and hand-scraped spindle housings (instead of linear guideways and milled surfaces). This results in superior vibration damping, extended tool life, and improved hole accuracy and surface finish. :: Kays Engineering Inc., 660-886-9929, kays-dehoff.com 42 PRODUCTION MACHINING :: APRIL 2017 PMTS 2017: SHOW COVERAGE
